Fyom Weleleh (A Suite for Dance) & Melodic Musings (Solo Violin)

Fyom Weleleh is a 30-minute musical set which includes excerpts from two works by the inimitable Mohammed Abdel Wahab, an original violin taksim, drum  solo and finale which is not only for special utilization by dancers  as a complete program but also a beautiful collection for general listening.  Melodic  Musings features solo violin improvisation by Georges Lammam,  exhibiting his power and virtuosity as well as the subtlety and introspection with  which he masters his instrument and the Arabic maqam system.  

Souk Al Amir

This recording features Georges and Antoine Lammam in traditional and newly-composed music in a musical journey through timeless royal vision.  A true magic carpet ride from village to mosque to Souk to the intimacy of late night dancing in the princely tent accompanied by a pastiche of cherished songs from the past mingling with the fresh melodic and rhythmic inventions of these contemporary artists.
